The day started the night before at Planet X, a hip club in Mysore. Most of my new friends were there and a few old ones. Do to the fact we had a moon day on Friday all of Gokulam was able to join in the festivities. The students that practice only with Sharath or Saraswati have Sunday off instead of Saturday and us main Shala people as you know get off on Saturday. Due to this we have not been able to enjoy each others company on the weekend as we would like but Thursday set us free and free is the word of the day. The dance floor was not only a free form yogic dance arena but a place for a limbo contest, and of course trickery; including standing back flips, martial art magic and if you know me you probably guessed or assumed handstand tricks, all to music. In India the night life ends when it gets to be night, so the party was over around 11:45 and then we devised a plan to have an after party at Jules(London) house(he's been told no more parties after 10, since). This went on until three am for myself and the Santa Cruz crew because we had to get up early and take a trip out to see The Golden Temple in Bylakoopi(my spelling may be off on this).
